ABOUT THE LYCEUM
The Kharkiv Private Lyceum “Angstrem” of the Kharkiv region (hereinafter referred to as Lyceum “Angstrem”) operates on the basis of Article 53 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On General Secondary Education”, the State Standard of Primary General Education; the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education; the State Standard of Profile Secondary Education; the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1115 dated 08.09.2020 “Some Issues of Organizing Distance Learning”; its own Charter.
Lyceum “Angstrem” was registered by the Kharkiv City Justice Department on 26.11.2020 (certificate of state registration No. 1004801070004067624), has a state license AA No. 214791 dated 12.02.2016, issued by the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration for providing educational services in the field of general secondary education.
Lyceum “Angstrem” conducts the educational process in distance or external forms of learning in the form of classes, webinars, online forums and conferences, independent student work using ICT, research and project activities, individual consultations, and face-to-face sessions.
The distance learning form at Lyceum “Angstrem” is organized according to the following scheme: the student has constant access to the school educational portal, where the working curriculum of the relevant class, weekly schedule of classes, consultations and webinars, electronic diary, chat with subject teachers and administration are posted. Each lesson contains audio, video, graphic, and textual information and links to textbooks and manuals recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
In its activities, Lyceum “Angstrem” uses its own electronic educational platform SDN “Euclid”which has the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The rational work mode for students involves independent work with electronic and paper media, consultations with teachers, webinars using Bigbluebutton.
Education in grades 10-11 is organized according to four profiles:
- mathematics,
- history,
- English language,
- biology.
The distance learning form does not require continuous work on the personal computer screen, thus it does not violate State sanitary rules and norms.
According to the Charter of Lyceum “Angstrem”, medical care for students is provided by parents and is carried out by health care institutions at the place of residence. Since the student’s workplace is at home, the responsibility for its arrangement and equipment lies with the parents. The organization of the work mode on the personal computer and compliance with sanitary rules and norms are also monitored by the parents.
The educational support is provided by the teachers of the Angstrom Lyceum.
